Evan and I road in Cherry Creek State Park the first Sunday of December and the temperature was up to 70 degrees! 

Race Events

On another note, I signed up for the Leadville Marathon (June 29, 2013) this week!  It should be a fun and challenging marathon climbing up to 13,185 ft. I started to train in the last month getting in more running miles during the week along with one long run and/or trail run per week.  I also signed up for a marathon with my Mom in Lansing, MI on April 21,2013 . It will be my last year in my 20s and my Mom's last year in her 50s! It is a great event for us to do together before we enter our 30s and 60s :) 

Thanksgiving 2012...

Just the 2 of us...

Evan and I had Thanksgiving by ourselves this year. We missed our family but we continue to feel thankful that we are able live in Colorado. For thanksgiving we decided to do a trail run along Mt. Falcon. It was appropriate that the first trail to head up Mt. Falcon was the 'Turkey Trot' trail. After our trail run we went to Whole Foods and picked up some of their delicious food and headed home to stuff ourselves :)

Arapahoe Pass...

We bought a truck!  On the first day of owning our truck we drove to Arapahoe Pass and on the way we drove up 'Oh My God Road'...
